At Carrollton First UMC we have a dedicated group of individuals who love teaching children about God’s amazing love. (Check back here for information about Easter Egg Hunt, Block Party, Vacation Bible School!)
**SUNDAY SCHOOL CHANGE**
Children’s Sunday School has been moved to the 10:45 worship service time. We have 3 classes divided into age groups as follows: 2 yr. olds thru preK, K-2nd grade, 3-5th grade. Classrooms are near the parking lot entrance to the church. Parents can sign their children in on their way to the 10:45 worship service and pick up their children after the 10:45 am worship service. We offer 3 Adult Sunday School classes that will still meet at 9:30am. Any questions can be addressed to Brian Husted. Thank you, Christian Education Team
Wednesday evenings from September through March, Carrollton First UMC has a Wild Wednesday program where we are “Wild about Jesus”. This program is for youth age 4 – 8th grade.
2017-18 Wild Wednesday program will run from Sept. 20th through March 28th
Theme: “Agents in Action”!

Kids will be challenged to live courageously as God’s Special Agents
Also on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m., youth in grades 6-12 can become a part of the Church Youth Group. This group meets at The Bridge (Rosebud Mining facility; Carroll County Fairgrounds) with Roni Knotts, our youth leader. Contact the church office for more information.
Thursday evenings those youth who praise God with their voices meet from 4:30-5:30p in the church sanctuary to practice. The Youth Praise Team, open to kids in grades 2-8, sings once a month at Carrollton First UMC and occasionally at The Bridge, our satellite campus.
Safe Sanctuary Policy Implemented
What does this mean to those of you with children or grandchildren?
1. Any child younger than 7th grade must be signed in to Sunday School. Parents/grandparents/responsible person 7th grade or older must go to their classroom and sign the “in” sheet.
2. After Sunday School you must go back and sign them out. They may not leave the room until you come sign them out. Please be respectful of the teacher’s time.
Thank you for your patience and help as we implement this important policy on Sunday mornings.
We are in need of people to help in the nursery on Sunday mornings! Please contact the church for more information.
