Snowmen on the Square

“Snowmen on the Square,” a community-wide project, will take place at Public Square in downtown Carrollton on Monday, February 15th, from 11am-3pm. Judging results at 3pm. Snowmen made offsite may be set up starting on Sunday, February 14 at noon.

Families and individuals, schools, community groups, civic organizations, clubs and company teams are encouraged to participate.

Guidelines

Snowmen may be constructed on or offsite. They are not to be made from real snow. Stakes are available if you mark that you need one on your registration form.

Suggestive or controversial themes will not be permitted. Props must be handmade, non-operative and permanently fixed to your snowman. Weapons or sharp implements will not be permitted. No signs will be permitted other than those provided by the committee.

Participants are responsible for the upkeep of their snowmen. Please check your snowman after storms to make sure it is not damaged or down.

Snowmen are not to be taller than 6 feet. Lights must be solar or battery operated as outlets will not be available.

Advanced registration is required. An entrance fee of $5 will be charged. Snowmen must be picked up February 27 by noon.

Snowmen will be placed around Public Square and along Main Street as space permits.

Registration forms can be picked up at the CVB/Chamber office, The Yellow Brick Church (253 S. Lisbon St.) or downloaded using the button above.
